Additional fee for microchipping________. Section I: SELLER OBLIGATIONS This puppy is a purebred Lhasa Apso, Boston Terrier, Dachshund or Pug registrable with the __________________Kennel Club. Upon execution of this contract, the seller does hereby convey title and interest in the described name ____________________puppy to the buyer (except for the terms listed herein). Sandy's Kennels has made every effort to provide you with a healthy puppy. Breeder guarantees that all vaccinations and worming are current. At the time of sale, this puppy is considered to be** PET QUALITY**. Sandy's Kennels offers no guarantee that this puppy does not have disqualifying faults now or will not arise at a later date which would make this puppy unsuitable for the show ring or for breeding purposes. It is the Buyer responsibility to have this puppy examined by a licensed Veterinarian of their choice within 48 hours of taking possession of this puppy. If the sale transaction takes place on Friday and Monday is a holiday the Buyer will be given an extra 24 hours to have the puppy examined by a licensed Veterinarian. If this puppy is found to have a life threatening congenital defect or health problem at this exam, a replacement puppy of equal value will be given if available, if there is not a puppy available, then a 100% refund will be given, provided the Breeder is contacted immediately (within 24 hours) after the exam, and this puppy is promptly returned to Sandy's Kennels, at no expense to the breeder, with a signed document from the veterinarian stating the defect or problem. Registration papers given at the time of sale must accompany the returned puppy to Sandy's Kennels. ***Sandy's Kennels will refund the purchase price, pending verification by the breeder's veterinarian. Sandy's Kennels will not be responsible for illness or health problems which are diagnosed after this time period, except were stated in this contract. ****Breeder will not be responsible for Parvo, Distemper or Corona virus after 48 hours of sale, as these are such highly contagious diseases and they can be contracted immediately after leaving the Breeder. Breeder further guarantees this puppy for 6 months (from the date of birth) against life threatening congenital defects. If within that time a life threatening congenital defect is found, Breeder will replace this puppy with another of the same breed, quality and sex. The replacement will be subject to availability (within approximately 8 months). The puppy will be replaced, no moneys will be refunded. Sandy's Kennels will not be responsible for illness or health problems which are diagnosed after this time period. In the unlikely event of this puppy's death in the 1st year, due to a congenital defect, a statement from a veterinarian confirming such an event and cause is required before any action will be taken by the Breeder. If cause is unknown, an autopsy is required. *****Under no circumstances is this puppy to be euthanized without Breeders knowledge and consent.*****Under no circumstances will the breeder be responsible for veterinary or medical bills incurred. Section 2: BUYERS OBLIGATIONS Buyer swears that he/she is not acting as an agent in the purchase of this animal and that it will remain solely in his/her custody. Buyer further swears that he/she is not associated with a pet shop or animal broker. The buyer agrees to care for this dog as would a humane and conscientious dog owner and agrees to provide: 1) Because of the variety and quality of dog foods available, and all canine illness are NOT covered by vaccination, we require that all Sandy's Kennels dogs/puppies be kept on "Nu-Vet Plus Canine." This Nutritional Supplement is only available through breeder recommendation. You will be instructed concerning this when you take possession of your puppy. Nu-Vet Labs sends us a monthly report on which Sandy's Kennels dogs/puppies are being supplemented with NuVet Plus Canine. *****NOTE: THIS HEALTH GUARANTEE WILL BE CONSIDERED NULL AND VOID IF YOU DO NOT KEEP YOUR PET ON THIS SUPPLEMENT. 2) If the puppy is shipped to the buyer it is the Buyers responsibility to return the Breeders copy of the signed Health Guarantee/Sales Contract to the Breeder within 1 week of shipping. *****NOTE: IF THE BREEDERS COPY OF THE HEALTH GUARANTEE/SALES CONTRACT IS NOT RETURNED TO THE BREEDER WITHIN 1 WEEK THE GUARANTEE/SALES CONTRACT IS NULL AND VOID, AND YOUR PUPPY/PUPPIES WILL NOT BE GUARANTEED. 3) To confine the dog when outdoors and refrain from restraining it on a chain or rope except when under the direct supervision of the buyer . EX: leash walking 4) Proper veterinary care is given immediately, including but not limited to injuries, illness, annual checkups, keeping all immunizations current according to the American Veterinary Medical Association Guidelines and kept on heart worm preventative as per veterinarian instructions. 5) Adequate housing for this dog within the buyers home and yard. 6) Adequate exercise by providing the dog with supervised walking and running on a regular basis. 7) Safe vehicle transport. The buyer must not at any time transport the animal in the open cargo area of a vehicle. EX: back of a pick up truck 8) Feed the dog a good quality pet food.. Instructions for feeding as given by the breeder. 9) All expenses regarding the animal including: shipping of the animal, proper care, veterinary fees, housing or legal liabilities are the responsibility of the buyer at whose home the animal will reside. 10) The buyer agrees to inform Sandy's Kennels of any titles or awards obtained by the animal for our breeding records. ***The breeder will accept the return of this dog at any time the purchaser declines to keep said dog. However, the breeder is not obligated to refund any or all of the purchase price except as stated in conditions above. ***Breeder will not be responsible for Parvo, Distemper or Corona virus after 48 hours of sell, as these are such highly contagious diseases they can be contracted immediately after leaving the Breeder. ***Violations of the terms of this contract renders all guarantees stipulated in this contract to be null and void and may result in the buyer being required to return the dog to the breeder within five days of receipt of notice from the breeder. If the buyer violates this agreement, he/she will be responsible for any/all legal costs the breeder acquires enforcing this contract. ***This contract is valid for the original purchaser that purchased the dog from Sandy's Kennels. If the dog is transferred to another owner this contract is null and void, as the breeder has no way of knowing how the dog is cared for or to whom the puppy would be placed with. ***Breeder makes no guarantees, expressed or implied, under this contract except as stated above.
